Campsite Description: We have 30 sites for caravans, motor caravans, trailer tents and tents which may be sited together if required. The site is grassy, well drained, flat, sheltered and very quiet - just birds, rabbits, deer, squirrels and foxes. There is a large grassy field adjacent and a play ground near by for children to play. The site is situated at the edge of a small village in a conservation area and is designated area of of outstanding natural beauty, two miles from Riber Deben and three and half miles from the sea (shingle beach). Very good walking and cycling area for forest, river and heathland trails. Local amenities (within 5 miles) include fishing, sailing, swimming pool, cinema, tennis, cycle hire, bowling, golf and horse riding.
Hot water to wash basins, flush toilets, newly refurbished hot showers, dish-washing area, septic emptying point and full lighting to toilet block. Electricity hook-up is available on most pitches. Fridge/freezer available for freezing cold blocks. Calor camping gas also available on site.The Sorrel Horse public house (150 metres) serves very good food, snacks, wine and fine ales from the barrel.
