Campsite Description: hedleywood is a family run site with a clubhouse and licensed bar with restaurant (which has quite an extensive menu at excellent prices) and pool tables darts and a large marine aquarium in the lower bar area We have a pet’s corner with chickens, ducks, chipmunks, birds and two pigs called arthur and martha who roam freely during the day. We have a relaxed attitude at hedleywood and keep rules and regulations to a minimum. Our site is aimed more for families who just want to relax have fun in the day and a good meal with a few drinks at night, knowing that their children can roam around freely and safely, with staff on hand all day. There is an adventure play area for the children we have 18 static vans available and room for 200 touring vans and tents with approximately 140 hookups with more being installed. We have free hot showers and hot water in the washing up areas we offer a storage facility for touring vans starting at only £4.50 a week.
Well-behaved dogs are welcome free, with a kenneling service available at £3 per dog per day. We also have dog walks through the woods and along a disused railway line. Local facilities are good with the beach and bude only 4 miles away. Their is pony trekking, go carts splash swimming pool with water slide and bowling, all in and around bode to name a few.

Description of caravan hire: All caravans have hot & cold water, toilet, shower, gas cooker, microwave, fridge, kettle, crockery, cutlery, gas or electric fire and remote-controlled colour tv. Electricity supplied by £1 coin meter & 16A trip switch. Please do not bring appliances which may cause this rating to be exceeded. Description of caravan storage: No worry/hassle or increased fuel costs of having to tow your caravan each visit
The caravan is not taking up space at home
Come & go whenever you choose - use the site as much as you/family/relations wish (and only pay site fees when you stay!)
You are free to enjoy the beauty of North Devon/Cornwall and of course, all the facilities of Hedley Wood.
Your caravan is stored safely in our storage area.
We will tow your caravan onto a vacant pitch of your choice when required - just call us 24 hours before your intended visit
When you leave, we will tow it into storage, ready for your next visit (A single charge of £5 is made for towing out & back)

Directions: From the North-East (M5):
Take M5 south to Exeter (junction 31) - take A30 (past Okehampton) to A386 interchange (towards Bideford) – travel 2 miles and take A3079 to Holsworthy, then onto A3072 towards Bude. Midway between Holsworthy & Bude at Red Post cross roads, turn left onto B3254.
Alternatively:
Take M5 to junction 27 to Tiverton. Take A361 to Barnstaple (not off to South Molton!) then follow A39 (Atlantic Highway) to Kilkhampton. Turn left onto B3254 (Launceston road) to Red Post cross roads. Go straight over crossroads on B3254.
Travel just over 2 miles - take right turn on the brow of a hill (sign-posted Titson) for approximately 500 yards - we are on the right.
From the South-East (A30):
Exit A30 at Launceston. Take A388 towards Holsworthy, then pick up B3254 towards Bude on the outskirts of Launceston. After passing through Whitstone, traverse a further 1 3/4 miles. On the brow of a hill, turn left (sign-posted Widemouth Bay) immediately before the Welcome to Devon sign for approximately 500 yards - we are on the right.
